Most of self discovery made by bold people makes them take a U turn in their lives. Hollywood movie scripts are great examples of the U Turn we make in our lives.

I am basing my understanding of the term U turn with your example here in your discussion , so does it actually mean going back or having other options or alternatives in life? You also mentioned movie scripts but I think its a little different when we talk about movie scripts , some scenes in movies cannot be done in real life , I mean the characters in movies are far different from people in real life .
