21 September - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, warm, Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.
It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful I got up when I did. I thought about going back to bed at three, but realized I needed to do laundry.
I'm thankful I got the laundry finished by five-something.
I'm thankful I had all my work done on the computer before I went to exercise class. Though I'm still working my way through the notifications. I started with a hundred. I still have a hundred.
I'm thankful for Canasta today. We actually played a variation of Canasta - Hand and Foot, as there were only six of us and you need six players for Hand and Foot. It was hilarious from the beginning. So much fun.
I'm thankful I have a way to Oshkosh and back on Saturday. My son will take me there tomorrow, and a member of the Writer's Guild will take me home on Saturday. I'm staying at my sister's tomorrow. They're doing remodeling, so she can't bring me home.
So, I'll be on early, but will be leaving in the morning and will return home late on Saturday. I won't have the Daily Bible Study until the afternoon.

I am grateful that my medicine for my diabetic condition arrived today which according to my doctor, it will lower my illnesses.

I hope you have a nice trip. One of our members always plays Hand and Foot with several friends. I've never played Canasta. I'm thankful for my husband that went out and ran errands for me yesterday. Have a great day and weekend.
