One of the largest, oldest, biggest, scams in the book. No Government is going to pay off everyone's debts. Now you can talk to your local bank about debt relief programs they actually offer, or credit card companies, themselves. But don't let yourself fall for the oldest scam in the book.

I have seen claims like that, but then when you look deeper it is just a scam to sell information about this being possible (it could be real though). I can’t imagine the government giving money to pay off the credit card bills of people who won’t control the fact that they love to shop. We are trillions in debt, and paying off bills for people who have no common sense is a terrible idea. Sure, the cost of groceries are ridiculous, but let’s be real: most people’s credit card debt is not because of increased grocery prices or medical bills. Some is, sure. But not most. Plus, the government is already giving food stamps and welfare, not to mention the three stimulus checks. Personal responsibility is much needed. It is a nice thought, but a bad idea.
