In the last 8-9 months I have found more 'toys' to play with!
2) The first toys I got are called grabbers--finding it very hard to get up after bending over, or stooping down, these are a lifesaver--amazing how many things fall on the floor that is not easy to pick up--I have one in the kitchen, 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the livingroom and 1 in the bedroom!
3) My 'go for the mail' walker and 4) my 'walk around the apartment safely' walker--are there electric walkers/wheelchairs in my future??
5) Ahhh--my 5-inch bootie bathroom booster makes it easier to get up from the commode.
6) And, yes, the bootie cushions for the chairs--so far have tried 3 different ones--none help!
Wonder what my doctors will order for me next--an electric bed maybe???
Kids have no idea what they have ahead of them--all the toys and games!
SORRY--I TRIED 5 DIFFERENT SIZE COLLAGES--NONE POSTED!

It is incredible how the floor gets away from your hands as time goes by. I had to accept pedicures not because of vanity but by need. And a lady comes once a week to clean. What reaches the floor stays there until Anita comes. And when some thing that is not water reaches the kitchen floor, I throw a piece of paper towel until dear Anita arrives. I could write a book about them I have my own ways of getting up from the toilet and when I´m somewhere else, I have to think what to do before I start with the proceedings. JEEEZZZ!!! To think that I was once young!

@GreatMartin There´s nothing else we can do. I hate most of the new technology because of my clumsy fingers, my poor eyes and my lack of memory. But I thank every day for the big TVs we have now. I would not be able to see anything, even with glasses on in those TVs we used to have. And I love to be able to listen to music in Youtube instead of having to look record by record until I find the one I want to listen to.
I don´t even miss the amounts of booze I used to drink. I´m happy to share a tiny glass of Jack Daniels with Humberto when he comes.

@GreatMartin You are right. Maybe the doctor was too young. He didn´t know better.

Sounds like very useful toys. I am jealous of a guy I see every day zooming by on his electric chair thingy past my window. With a bum knee I sure which I had such an electric zoom zoom and then I could zoom all around town. SIGH no in my future I can imagine how much that costs, I hope all is well and these toys help you get around,

Mom had a couple of the grabbers before she decided she wanted to go into a nursing home. She really liked them.
Yeah, pictures haven't worked for a couple of months.
I hope you have a wonderful night.

My grabber disappeared. I have a higher toilet which helps. I have a cane, walker, wheelchair and rollator. Isn't getting old fun? I don't know if they will be fixing the photo problem. Have a great weekend.

-----------By the time you get old, the electric scooters will be self-driving and flying.
