Good morning from this side of the planet It's bright sunny morning after a night long rain. It's a pleasant weather . I have no work at school, so I didn't go in the morning. I will leave the house at 12:45 to join the fellow teachers and non teaching staff members for potluck lunch. It's another two hours at hand. I will spend another hour online mylotting.
I have applied oil to my hair and massaged it in the morning. I would take a head bath in another hour. I am taking tadka daal for the potluck. I have cooked the lentils in the cooker. Later I will put the tadka with onion, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger garlic and other seasoning. I will use ghee( clarified butter) as it gives a wonderful flavour. I will do it just before leaving.
I spent my morning in cooking, packing lunches for husband, daughter and niece and cleaning my fridge. I deserve rest with mylotting
I have my afternoon therapy sessions and later I will finish few other chores in the evening, it's basically folding and ironing clothes. It's Wednesday and our gang of ladies will be there for evening walk
I have made extra tadka dal and that will save me from cooking dinner
Hope all is going well in your myLot corner. Take care. Stay healthy and happy.

@nela13 It's passed on from generations and many household make their own. I learnt it from my grandmother and mother. It's a bit long process and now a days many have busy lifestyle and they prefer to buy it from store.

It's very much part of our traditional cooking and is supposed to be very good for skin, joints and bone health. I make mine at home only from the cream that I collect from boiled milk.

Thank you.
We had a good potluck. Good food with friends and a lot of chatting. I just came back before my therapy classes will start. Have around 20 minutes in hand. I also came before I could get up caught in the rain.

It's shamppoing our hair. Actually I have a very thick and a little below shoulder length hair. I don't use dryer to dry it. So, I don't shampoo everyday. I do it thrice a week.. and I like to massage my hair with coconut oil or sesame oil a few hours before shampoo. Head bath is basically washing hair. In India, people also use term like oil bath where they get a oil massage from head to toe few hours before bath

@arunima25 I rarely need to use my dryer. Sometimes the towels dry a bit hard in the hot sun and I'll 'dry' them for 10 minutes to try to soften them up.

I like the clothes that dry in sun. They are so fresh and smell good. That's why I do laundry when it's sunny outside.

@JudyEv It's the same here. We get good sun and we should use it and save power and the environment.

Thank you Judy. I can relax for a while. Then the day will go as usual. Not too hectic but yes I have work and chores.
