Today's trip to the big Tesco.

Today we went to the big Tesco again. It had been raining, and it was still looking dull, so I wore my mac, just incase it started raining again. I put the soft plastic recycle in the recycle receptacle as usual, and Mum fetched a trolley. Then we went up on the lift. We looked for some fresh flowers first, but they didn't have the ones we usually have, so we got some posher ones for £1 more each. I went to look for a Leisure Painter magazine, but I couldn't find one, and I was very disappointed. I got a stamping magazine instead, with a free set of Christmas stamps included. I got 3 small packets of seaweed thins, some Love corn, 2 bottles of water and 2 prawn layered salads. I didn't think I was going to be able to get them at first, but then I found one near the back, and another one was hiding behind something else! Then we went to the fruit and vegetable section, and we got strawberries, green grapes, pomegranate seeds, spring onions, a lemon, some easy peelers and some bananas. I didn't get any blueberries because I already got some yesterday from the little Tesco incase I couldn't get any today! Then we got the usual yoghurts, milk and puddings for my Mum and step-dad for the weekend. I looked for some Danish Blue cheese for my step-dad but I couldn't find any. We went to the vegan and ready meal isle. I couldn't get any chick'n'less bites, so I had to get something similar that I don't like so much. I get a vegan cheesy mushroom slice for Saturday and some chicken and bacon style tortellini for Sunday. I also got some scrambled tofu, a sweet and sour thing with Quorn and 2 chicken and bacon pasta bakes. Mum got her own ready meals. Mum got some sea food sauce and I got some brown rice. Then I got a beef and tomato pot noodle and some cockles for my step-dad. (!) Then we got a 50/50 loaf and some cakes. We got some crisps and some pringles, then we got some custard cream biscuits and some honey cheerios for my step-dad. We also got some honey roasted peanuts. Then I got some vegan magnum ice lollies, Mum got some chips and some fish fingers and some duck and vegetable rolls for the weekend. I got some toilet paper for me and some kitchen roll. Then we went and payed. It came to just over £130. Mum had a voucher for double points which she can use twice and this was the first time. By this time it was 4:25pm so I quickly went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap, and then we went down in the lift. I went and sat on a bench to wait for my step-dad to come, but I'd hardly sat down when he came! When we got home, the sun had come out. We unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had one of my prawn layered salads, the chicken-like things I got instead of the chick'n'less bites, one of my vegan yoghurts and a packet of seaweed thins for my dinner. Later, I washed up and put my fish out to thaw ready for tomorrow. Then I put the new flowers out. I haven't put the old flowers and the offcuts in the garden waste bin yet because it's been blowing a gale outside. What have you been getting up to? I hope you are all well.
