News Flash From The Past

While rummaging through old things set out side in a yard for pickup, ran across a newspaper from 1987. A lot of interesting news. Ronald Reaganomics. Iran Contra, Feds cutting interest rates, etc. etc. Old news from the past is very interesting. Do you read.old newspapers and old news stories to see what' was happening in past years?

No. I don't tend to dig that deep online for that kind of thing. I did find my father's obituary from 2000, but that's it. I was there when he passed, but never knew what was said about him.

I remember when my late grandparents moved houses back in 2008, we found the newspaper from the moon landing, and JFK’s assassination in their garage. Turns out she had a bag of newspapers she had saved from the big events in her lifetime. It was pretty fascinating.
