I just noticed the date when I picked up my phone as I got up from my afternoon sleep. Yes, it was not a nap. I slept for long three hours. As I don't have my remedial classes on Friday afternoon and weekends, I could sleep longer. And now it's 7 PM and I am all fresh like morning 
Anyways, it's a Friday night and I would watch some late night movie with my husband. I will be fresh to enjoy our Friday night.

Planning to do some ironing. I have a huge pile as I could not do much chores this week because of my cold and congestion making me feel sick. I will keep ironing and watching the TV.
Are you superstitious about Friday, the 13th?
In fact I had a very good day. I felt all okay today..the whole week was terrible with annoying cold and congestion. I had a wonderful lunch and a long rest that my body needed. In fact I am in a happy mood on this Friday. And looking forward to a fun Friday night

My birth was on a Monday, but it was the 13th, so sometimes my birthday lands on a Friday, and I don't care. Neither does my former classmate, who was born on Friday the 13th. We see that number through a totally different lens than those who fear it.

My nephew is also born on 13th April and we had few of his birthdays falling on Friday. Anyways this superstition is not a part of our culture , though we have some other ones.
13 is lucky number for many. And it might be lucky day for many.

I didn't realize it was Friday the 13th until the put the news on this morning. Nope, I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th. It's only mid morning here and I'm just having some coffee before getting my day started.

This superstition is not a part of our culture. Though we have some other ones. I am not superstitious. I have a strong faith in God and know that nothing happens without his will.
Have a good Friday and weekend. It's a ten days long holiday for me

You are so lucky. I was like that. I hardly fell sick. I am type 1.5 diabetic and on insulin from a young age. Other than that I was pretty healthy. But since I contacted COVID, my immunity has gone South. I am falling sick more often.
My nephew is born on April 13 and 13 seems to be his lucky number. Anyways this superstition does not belong to our culture. We have other ones here and I don't believe in them either.

I just realized it was Friday the 13th yesterday here. I am not superstitious about this day at all, as I was born in 13th, and sometimes my birthday falls on Friday the 13th too. I always think it's a special day.
Yesterday was a good day, or normal day for me.

Even my nephew is born on 13th April. Sometimes, his birthday falls on Friday. He considers 13 to be his lucky number.

Not superstitious about Friday the 13th.
Yet it is a bigger thing for many in the west.
Covering up on sleep is always good.
We too had plans to watch a movie but it didn't materialize.
Today is the last - Amavasya (New Moon Day) Shraddh (days for remembering and honouring our ancestors).
So my wife will cook a few things and I will go to the temple.
Tomorrow Navratri (Nine days of festival)start.
We keep fast on 1st and 7th day.
No onions and garlic before Dusshera.
Yet I do not feel much about leaving Onion n Garlic because we didn't used to had them at all when we used to stay with our Paternal Grandma(Dadi).
Friday was busy work wise. I started on a Training session for some folks.
I had a kind of one sided speaking after a long time.
When one doesn't gets much questions from the listeners, that too online and across the globe, one cannot make out if they are interested, bored or just feeling sleepy !!
One just needs to assume that they understand everything if we keep a justified pace.
The new day is just up abd getting ready for the day.
Plus we have the India vs Pakistan Cricket World Cup match today.

We stayed glued to TV for India Pakistan match and left for dinner only when it got over . We went for a family dinner with my nephew and niece in one of a very well known vegetarian restaurant, known for its elaborate buffet.
Weekend was good, mostly lazy and being busy with Mahalaya cleaning and pooja. I do paath for nine days. So, it is elaborate pooja with bhog preparation starting from sixth day. Morning and evening paath with aarti is keeping me busy. Will do kanya puja on navmi day.
My grandparents were vaishnav. So, no garlic and onion were allowed. Though later generations started with it and non veg too. But for Dusshera we too go without garlic and onion. In my mom's place, even now they will have no garlic onion during Saawan and Kartik month.
I too hate such interactions less lectures.

Sorry about your cold. Hope you are feeling better now.
I too like ironing. Nothing goes in its place without ironing. Even my kitchen napkins and towels in the house are ironed and nicely stacked.
