I have been brining my children to the nearby park almost everyday before the pandemic. We have almost stopped stepping out of our house at all time during the MCO (Movement Control Order). My neighbors and friend wondered how my children could survive without going out since they went to the park everyday. The children were happily staying in the house, having their activities, and I still requested them to go and play in the yard every evening.
Now that it's becoming normal now, and we started to go to the park almost every evening again. My two younger children enjoy going to the playground, and my youngest son managed to hang on the monkey bars. Though my eldest son doesn't go to the playground anymore, glad that he likes playing basketball, so he still goes to the park for basketball.
We do not meet many of the friends we met in the park before the pandemic, perhaps the children have grown up and not going to the park anymore, glad that my children still make some new friends in the park. Since my children are quite old now and I do not need to watch them closely, now I can bring a book with me and read. Life seems to be quite different for me when my children are no longer young kids and can take care of themselves. I am really grateful for this.
Have you gone back to your normal routine in life now?

It's wonderful to hear how your family has adapted and is gradually getting back to your pre-pandemic routines! It's always a heartwarming sight to see kids enjoying the playground. As for my own routine, it seems that id doesn't change since Singapore do not limit us to visit parks in pandemic-days.

Some people still went to the park, especially for jogging, but we just didn't go out in pandemic days, as my children actually like to play in the playground which might easily catch any virus.
Yes, it's good that the children can now enjoy the playground, and adults enjoy walking, jogging or chatting in the park.

No... before the pandemic, I worked 40 or more hours a week and was hardly ever home. Now, my job is gone and I hardly leave the house... I don't have anywhere I need to go.

@kaka135 Thanks... No, I have applied for disability. At least half the time now my eyes swell shut so I can't see anything.
If Covid weren't still around, we might go to the park. We did before Covid started. We used to walk around and around the park for exercise.

I have no little ones but I should be going to our park near by too. What a nice outing. I remember taking my granddaughter. She loved the swing and the slide.

Without the little ones, I guess I might just walk or jog in the park, but not spend time in the playground. I remember those days when my children were playing the slides. My younger two still love the swing, but the slides in our park are too small for them. They enjoy climbing up and down now.
