I'm back from running some unexpected errands today. Not that I'm complaining. We needed to pick up another blood pressure monitor for my husband, because the one that the VA gave us, broke. Well, I wouldn't say broke as I would say the batteries leaked and damaged the battery compartment and we can't find the power supply. So we replaced it. We also tried to play lots, and lost.... Well, we won some money, but not a huge amount. But, that's why they call it gambling. We tried. George doesn't want to take that gamble again.

We were given the blood pressure monitor some years ago and never really did anything with it. So, we forgot about it until this morning. And.... well.... we apparently forgot it had batteries inside, too. Oops.

George and I are to the point of abject frustration and almost literal tears (in my case) literal tears over this. We're only doing it to make the doctor happy.

Glad you were able to get another blood pressure monitor. Everything was quiet here but was so cold in the apartment this morning the cats were both fighting for a large patch of sunlight on a chair in my workroom, If it gets cooler tonight it will be heater time,

Sounds like you had a whole lot going on for you today. You were lucky with the gambling lol, I have lost huge amounts, I ain't never going back there, such a dark place ngl.
