The photo has nothing to do with the discussion but is from the ‘pink ride’ which raised funds for cancer.
I’ve just read a myLotter’s discussion about making a pie using a bottle of wine.
Many years ago we made a wine jelly which was basically just a bottle of wine made into a jelly using gelatine. As it wasn’t heated, the jelly was still alcoholic. It was also virtually colourless and didn’t look anything special. We gave each person a generous serving and, as we’d already had wine with our main course, we all ended up quite tipsy from the wine in the jelly.
I do remember we left the washing up till next morning.

That's so funny. I made freezer jelly one time from the Muscadine grapes we grew. It was good, but not worth all that work!

What were you thinking? You should have added some food coloring or sprinkles or something...

“Have you had anything to drink?”
“No, officer, but I had some jelly.”
