@TheHorse It is illegal in India too. But this is outside India's jurisdiction as well as America's. So you have to think....where you gonna file that complaint. LOL That is nasty of that lady.....so did you let her know that you saved that phone message? File a case against her, you might get more than 1150 now that you have serious evidence. But before that, give her an ultimatum. Please hand over what you owe me, by this day, else I will be forced to file a case along with your phone message threatening me with bad things...

Blackmail material. What's sad is that the lady who owes me $1150 left me a phone message saying she'd make up "bad things" about me if I kept asking her for the money she owes me. But she's a dummy. I have saved the message! Blackmail is illegal in the US. I don't know about India.

Your secret is good with me . . . because, shhhhhhhhhhh, it's my secret place too! Only Hubby and kids know. But no one else does . . . I don't need the world to know that I have vented about them and can find evidence here. However, I have solved that worry by deleting almost all past posts.

I never thought about it before. None of my family has ever asked, they know I like to blog, etc. so there's that...Of course there are many members on mylot that do not use their real name, or they use a name that means something to them, but it's not their name--you know what I mean. As for the lady that owes you that money. Because you are a fellow that always seems to be out for the underdogs in life, you do realize if she isn't made to pay you for your work, she will just keep doing it, right? She will cheat someone else who relies on that money for rent, food, childcare....you need to go after her. It's not right, what she did. Yes, I know--you didn't ask my opinion. Aren't you lucky, I gave it to you anyway?

What you say is validating, and I actually appreciate It. I have done what I can up to this point . The police know about the situation, but they have bigger fish to fry. Licensing knows about the situation, but aren't interested in the financial aspect of things. I do feel for the others who worked for her. Some of them were not as "blessed" as I am. I am also really worried for the littlies. They deserve a good daycare environment.

My dad knows because I met someone in person from Mylot, and I told him who I was meeting. Then, I told him if something ever happened to me, he needed to notify such and such from Mylot, who I’m closed to. He doesn’t give a lick about Mylot though. And yes, I just said give a lick.
