The New York Fire Department (NYFD) answered calls for help from passengers who were aboard a Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) passenger train that was disabled as it was traveling from Jamaica Center to 121 Street on Tuesday afternoon. The passengers aboard the J train admitted that they were scared that the train they were riding on heard a loud bang as well as the noise of metal scrapping against metal. The officials of the MTA did contact the NYFD to come and rescue the 100 passengers who were aboard the train. The FDNY used a ladder to get aboard the passenger train and evacuate the passengers after a three hour period from the time of the accident to the evacuate the passengers safely. So glad to hear they were rescued and no injuries. It looked so tedious to get them out and down the ladders.

It was a hard task getting the passengers out of the train with a ladder indeed.

That would have been a very difficut task but would have been much harder if the train had flipped on its side.

This I would say i good news in the subway system and that these passengers got rescued., I read today that a man not fully right in the head knocked a 39-year-old woman into a train leaving the platform at a train station in NYC. She banged her head into the moving train and fell on the tracks, He got arrested and she is in the hospital with serious head injuries. I say they gotta do something to make things safe on the subway system. NYC is my hometown but today I would rather walk or take a bus instead of the subway,

I do not blame you for not wanting to ride a subway in New York City. I have a cousin who left New York to live in North Carolina.

That's scary. I'm glad they were able to disembark all the passengers.
