Some time ago, I tried to start a dog walking business. A neighbor made business cards for me, and I stuck a couple on bulletin boards in stores in town. Just a few minutes ago, my phone "bllling"ed, telling me I had a message. I was surprised to see: "Hi Stacy, (they always spell my name wrong) This is Eva I got your number from the Pet Store and I'm looking for someone to help me with my Dog Luna from the 1st to the 18th and I was wondering if you are available for those days to help me?" Me: "I would love to. What kind of help do you need?" Seconds later: "thank you so much for getting back to me. My friend Just confirmed me that she is available to help me. But I will save your number for the future." (Typed out like the text was) Oh, well. She did say she would save my number. Who knows, she might need me next time.

Yeah, but it all happened super fast! I guess she called her friend right after she asked me? Oh, well. Hopefully I'll get to help next time.
