San Antonio city workers rescue one puppy trapped inside of a sewer pipe

Thanks to the efforts of the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) as well as the firefighters of the same city who were called by a concerned eyewitness who saw three puppies who fell into the sewer main in the southern part of the city on Wednesday evening. The San Antonio Fire Department were able to rescue two of the puppies out of the three puppies who were inside of the sewer pipe safely. The problem was that the third puppy was rescued by the city employees by locating the puppy with the use of a camera to nudge the puppy who was stuck in the pipe 10 feet at a time for 200 feet until the puppy was released from the trap and given to the San Antonio Animal Care Services to be checked up by the veterinarians before returning her to her owners. The puppy who given the name Pipa was rescued in a period of eight hours. The puppies fell into the sewer main after they were seen playing in the front yard of their owners home.
