She is out at a birthday party and she dropped Whiskey (her dog) here shortly after 4 pm. He is ALWAYS here and considers this his second home. She gets all stressed out when she is out and he is here and I have no idea why. She doesn't even pay me to watch the dog. He just hangs here with me and my cat Charlie. (Adso is NOT a fan)
I took a nap around 5:30 pm and woke up about 2 hours later. I had a stream of like 10 messages and her demanding that I answer her or she'd be coming back here. When I woke up I said "um we were napping and he is fine." She then said she would stay at the party until 10.
It blows my mind that she thinks there's a possibility that the dog isn't okay here when he is here ALL THE TIME.

Why don't you forward a copy of this post to her and she will stop being a nuisance to you (lol)

What does she think would happen to him at 7 o'clock in the evening? Good grief.

She needs a new hobby or some kind of mental health help. Either she trusts you or she does not. I would be cutting off the free dog sitting if this keeps up.

I think she should tell her there is now an hourly rate. She is not going to find free doggy daycare/nightcare anywhere else, I am sure of that.
I was curious so I looked it up. In New Jersey, it averages at least $40 a day for doggy daycare. Tell her you will do it for $35. Fair is fair...and don't get me wrong here, I LOVE animals.

She needs to take a pill. You are watching her dog every day for nothing; and she has the nerve to get upset with you? I'd be telling her to find someone else. Have a good week.

Um, can't you just tell her no, you don't want to do it? Or be ''busy'' or whatever....she is taking complete advantage of you. The price of Doggy Day Care here is astronomical. Ask her ''what would you do if I moved away?'' maybe she will wake up.
