What's for dinner? I'm looking or simple easy but fairly healthy ideas. Nothing I have to cook for the next week.
My son sent me home with extra tri tip he barbecued last night so I'll have it on butter lettuce with some mozzarella. I'm out of tomatoes but might add some pumpkin seeds.
What is your to go to when you don't feel like cooking or prepping?

We usually have chili or corned beef hash if my daughter doesn't feel like doing something else. Or, occasionally we order out.

@celticeagle I haven't had corn bread in a very long time. It sounds so good.

Tonight my husband and stepson will be cutting up another deer so I need to be in the kitchen as little as possible. I’m thawing out some homemade soup my husband made last month and will pop some premade buttermilk biscuits in the oven to go with them. I think I will start on some crockpot macaroni and cheese for my daughters and I who don’t eat the soup. I’m also making a Cherry-almond sugar cookie cobbler at some point if I get time. I have the cherries thawing.

@RebeccasFarm LOL That sounds perfect to me. Are the fries a special box or bag that crisp?

In India when we don't feel like cooking we make kchidi which is boiling, rice, lentils and vegetables together with salt and turmeric and having it with butter or ghee( clarified butter).

My dinner is an experiment I want to try. I am not sure though but interested. I bought all the ingredients and supplies in case I do encourage myself to try it. It's a bit or more of the unhealthy side but when I saw it on a video, it looked good. It's noodles with corn and chips lol
