I forgot how winter is inside a travel trailer if a furnace doesn't work. Back around 2011, I moved into my then 34 ft trailer for a year and the furnace went out during winter. I froze even with a space heater. My furnace was fine until last week. Now blowing cold air the first few seconds. The RV guy said he thinks he knows what it is and easy fix. I hope so. My trailer is smaller so holds heat from a space heater better but now my valves are frozen shut. I still have water thanks to my heated hose. I will get on here thinking of things to talk about and then it goes out my brain. Weather as a back up. It stayed white all over today from ice. Foggy too. Stag air warning. Everyone keep warm. I'm going to go under covers and warm up more. Photo is our weather though where I am, it's about two degrees colder.

I lived in a travel trailer for a year, and in the winter the heat quit, and in the summer the air conditioner broke. But it gets much colder where you are than where I live.

I had the AC go out in my last one too. That experience told me no more. Well, this year, I had no choice with the housing and expenses now. I had to sell my tiny house but still not enough to afford to stay in an apartment. Wound up in another trailer. Feels like deja vu.

@noni1959 I am sorry you had to sell your house, it must be hard to live in a trailer in winter.

@LadyDuck Thank you. I owned it but it was on property I didn't and they sold it. I found out when I was having it bult, he didn't do the permit and I couldn't sell it as livable unless I took care of that but would have cost me several thousand. I had very little time to sell it so I lost a lot of money.

@noni1959 We had an appointment yesterday. On the way back home I stopped at the grocery store to be sure we do not need to go out with the snow.

@LadyDuck Good you got ready for the weather. I have shelf foods too for if power goes out. I can cook with the propane but like having easy foods for those times.

I'm in Eastern Washington. I moved here from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. My son is here. We are trying to head western OR by summer. I may before he does.

@noni1959 Eastern WA is so unforgiving when it comes to weather in the winter. I hope you will be okay.

Thank you. Me too. I hope he can get my valves opened too. They are still frozen shut. Odd since my water isn't frozen.

Well you told us about you heating dilemma they in itself was a good thing to talk about it think. Anyone can talk about the weather you shared more of you life with us I think which I love hearing about peoples days across the world. I hope the guy can get the part fixed quickly. I have to do some errands in town and it’s very chilly but no snow today at least.

Thank you. I love hearing about you and others here. I hope he can fix the furnace as well. He should be here in an hour or so. Good no snow. It's looking like it will hit us earlier than planned.

It is. I am always curious how it is in other areas. Sometimes, the apps are off. I do love winter but only if I can get warm. Just something about the peace of snow, fireplaces and hot soups.

The weather is constantly changing, making it a reasonable jumping off point. Everyone has an opinion, they either like the current weather or dislike it. Woke to a fresh dusting of snow this morning. It’s cold outside. -9°C

We don't have the sort of problems you do as the weather doesn't get anywhere near as cold. Very occasionally, the garden hose pipes might freeze but even that is very rare.
