29 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cold Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. When I post this, I'm going to bed. It's been a long and good day. It's after 8 PM and my bedtime. I'm thankful I got up at 3 this morning. I got my laundry in the washer by 3:30 and then forgot about it until 5:45. I quickly got it into the dryer and had it out before 7. I'm glad nobody else uses the washer and dryer that early. I'm thankful I have the notifications finished twice now. It's always good to hear how you are in your world. I heard some sad news today about one of our members, Gill from the UK passed earlier this month. She will be missed. I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Challenge. Only one chapter, but it was good. Lots of revision going on now. I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning and the five miles I got on the bike while the others worked out to the shorter tape. I'm thankful for rock painting. I didn't take a picture yet, but I did a painting of Olaf from Frozen. It turned out very well. I'm thankful I got gas today. That was a miracle. I have Hy-Vee Perks earning me fuel rewards at Shell. The price for gas is $3.04 per gallon. With my perks, I paid .76 per gallon for a total of $6.88. A savings of $20.40. I went into the station to make certain the price was right. It was. I'm very thankful for God's grace at the gas station. I'm thankful for the shopping trip to both Festival and Dollar Tree. I have my bananas and a few more items. I didn't want to go overboard, but I did go down every aisle to get my steps and found a few more items that might not be there the next time I go there. As for Dollar Tree, the building is doing a Christmas door contest for either festive Santa or Ugly Elf. I thought about doing Festive Santa, but I saw more elves, so Ugly Elf won. I got a lot of stuff for the door. It will be fun decorating it. I'm thankful my son called with his password for Hulu. No time to watch it today, so I'll get it taken care of tomorrow. If I wait too much longer I'll go into Bones withdrawal. I'm thankful for prayer tonight. There were three of us. It was a good time of prayer. Okay, that's my day.
