The Basset hound and kids

Lots is being written about this kids-friendly dog. All dogs do not take to kids so when a decision is taken to adopt dogs where there are kids it would be advisable to first know about their traits.
Some dogs are aggressive and it is not always possible to keep a watch on them.
The Basset Hound is native to the Western region and is not found in India. Fortunately, the dogs we have had were friendly and loving Even our Bull Terrier who is supposed to be violent turned out to be the most loving.

@allknowing I do adore Rufus the rascal. He is a horrid barker with a capitol B. He really sets up barking when I cough or sneeze.

I am a cat lover. When I was a kid, I was bitten by a dog. I had been scared of dogs for a long time. As I grow older, I've overcome this fear, and I can manage to play with some cute and friendly dogs.
