My body react to sea foods these days and I don't know why. Once I eat something like shrimps or crab, I get some sort of reactions which make me feel like throwing up. Is anyone here experiencing such? Just wondering what has changed in my body system.

It's normal to have food allergies and everyone experiences them differently. It is possible to feel sick when eating something you are allergic to. My 8-year-old has a stomach reaction as a sign of his food allergies. I don't know what his reaction would be to shellfish since he hasn't eaten any yet. Shrimps and craps are shellfish and that is a common food allergy. It's in the top ten. Most people believe that food allergies mean your tongue will tingle, and your throat will close up but that isn't the case. Some people's food allergy is consumption this is when food hits your stomach and it's your inner organs that are allergic. Allergists can only test this by making you eat it and then they have your report over a few days usually 3 days because it takes that long for the body to dispel what you have eaten.

@septabchips I know tons about allergies that come with having them as well as a child that does. Did you know you are more likely to have food allergies if one or both of your parents do? Most people with latex allergy are also allergic to amoxicillin. Most people who have food allergies at birth will grow out of them by the time they are 3. If an allergy develops after the age of three or doesn't go away before the age of 3 you are less likely to grow out. Hormones can change your body in such a way that you develop an allergy the same if a woman is pregnant she can suddenly develop an allergy as well. Most environmental allergies are also genetic among families. Not all reactions are allergies some are intolerant which doctors don't always agree is possible since intolerance and an allergy are two different things. Some people's body oils trigger allergic reactions when in contact with something. This is normally seen if you are allergic to animals but not their dander it's the saliva touching your oils.

@ShyBear88 Good insight! I started reacting to the sea food I mentioned about a year ago. Before that time I could eat them without feeling funny.

So far I have no problem to eat seafood. If you have the seafood allergy, it is better to avoid these food. It is hard to know why you will have this allergy now.

Maybe you are allergic to them when you never used to be.

My husband actually has a seafood allergy as well but the usual symptoms of itchiness and flaring up. What helps him manage the itchiness is having chocolates or cold drinks. It's essential to figure out what works for you and, more importantly, consult with a healthcare professional to understand the root cause and explore suitable solutions.

I feel like that with eggs and bacon. I used to love eating carbonara pasta, But the past 10 years or so, even the mention of eggs make me nauseous
