Jason Smith is one person that I admire since he decided to adopt a girl who was being sent to the principal's office six years ago since the young girl who went by the name Raven Whitaker was sent to his office after she had thrown a cup of yogurt during lunch since she never had yogurt before.
Raven at that time had been living with foster parents in Lexington Kentucky gained favor in the eyes of Jason who was a high school principal since he and his wife Marybeth did not have any children at the time of their own since three children that they adopted had been returned to their real parents after one year.
Raven did get adopted by the Smith couple six years ago when Raven was a sixth grader who was 14 years old in 2015 is now 20 years old and living a happy life with her foster parents.
Jason saw the good qualities of Raven since in his view he saw the good qualities of a child who just need someone to guide her in the right direction.

So sad he had three other kids returned. Glad Raven stayed. He was able to see the good in her. How wonderful.

I know what you mean since something good came out of not having children of his own.

I am in agreement with you since Jason saw the good side of Raven who needed a father figure in her lifetime.

They must have checked over his credentials thoroughly as it took so long to be approved.
When anyone, unusually does something like that, I expect such checks are mandatory.
It was good, that the student received benefits from the adoption, and became a better person.
Right guidance can have a big beneficial effect on somebody's life; bad guidance can cause major negative disruptions, in somebody's life.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, if a parent smokes, it is far more likely the child will smoke too. Children copy their parents a lot, l think.

That is very true since my late mom has always that bad children do not have parental guidance in their lives as children to teach them right from wrong.
