Domestic violence doesn't only happen to women. It happened to the guy I was dating. The PTSD and trauma and anxiety it caused broke us up. I can't work with him on it, but I can work separately. Here is a short video on the subject by a group called DAVIA: https://youtu.be/6wA8BmgUylw?si=J0f0GZxMdsC7sl1Q And here is a letter to the editor that I wrote on the subject: https://www.mtdemocrat.com/opinion/letters_to_editor/stop-trial-by-media/article_f3f6fb1c-8e15-11ee-8775-4b5c00ce7dd0.html Statistics show that women hit, slap, kick, throw things, etc., and that men rarely report it. It's a problem worldwide, and it's not only men who do it. #DomesticViolenceAgainstMen #EndDVAgainstMen #MenToo #MenTooMovement #breakthecycle #ManYouAreNotAlone #ProtectUsAll

You are so right. A man in our church was a domestic violence victim from his first wife.

@dawnald And the women who do it should be held just as accountable as the men who commit the same prime.

It is something men probably really find it hard to talk about.

It seldom gets reported when a male celebrity gets beat up by a female since the male guy will be seen as weak getting beat up a female.

In many cultures, unfortunately, it is taught that physical violence is the first and often only answer and that it is right. Unfortunately men are often seen as weak when they report this sort of thing or use at as grounds to end a relationship. I was involved with two divorce cases where both the lawyer and the advocate told the husbands outright to not even mention spousal abuse.

It probably would have been turned around on them.
