Something fun for me to do this month

I’m quite excited to participate in a little Facebook event a friend of mine created.
Not many people are members so the chance of winning is much higher. To win we have to be the first to check off all the items on the list. There are 11 items.
It is a Christmas scavenger hunt online where only selfies are needed.
I won’t be a winner and that is okay I am just going to enjoy participating.
One thing I was figuring I’d never be able to check off the list was a manger scene but then I went to the thrift store where my daughter works and low and behold one of the decorations on display is Mary and Joseph baby Jesus and a donkey. They have a few full manger scenes on display but this is bigger.
Tomorrow my daughters and I are going shopping after my oldest daughter’s doctors appointment and I curious if I’ll see anything to start me off on this scavenger hunt. An outdoor inflatable shouldn’t be hard to find for instance.
Photo is a cute tin Christmas decoration I got a few months ago at an antique store that was closing due to retirement. I believe I paid $1.50 for it. My little one loves to play with her paw patrol toys in it.

@LindaOhio thank you today I was able to check two things off the list : selfie with outdoor Christmas lights and selfie wrapping Christmas presents.

@BarbaraPrz oh on it’s much to large to be an ornament. It’s a little house that holds two votive candles in it.

@BarBaraPrz oh do they call any kind of decorations ornamental? That could make sense. I just thought of like what hangs on a tree only being an ornament.

@snowy22315 I wish she invited more people to join this scavenger hunt since it’s so easy for anyone to do it. I’d love to see more photos of what people come up with. The woman in charge of it and only one other guy has added photos besides me.

@snowy22315 I don’t think I will win but that’s okay I’ve won other things this woman has done like the fairy door trail. I just think it’s a fun thing to participate in. Today I managed to check off two things on the list.

@GardenGerty I take them so seldom that I am terrible at them too. It took me 4 tries tonight before I gave up and asked my son to take a photo of me wrapping a Christmas gift which was an item on the scavenger hunt.

@Deepizzaguy thanks the back has a door that opens and my little one loves to play with it. Unfortunately she’s being a little rough and the Santa on it may not last until Christmas.
