Have you ever solo traveled to a foreign country?
My only solo travels have been getting on a flight to and fro in Europe, being picked up at the airport and staying at a friend's or relatives and then toured together with whoever is hosting me
I've never visited a foreign country all alone, including hotels, sightseeing and transport.
I'm the type of person who needs the confidence of another person with me.
I'd be afraid of getting lost or not knowing what to do on my own.
I've heard lots of stories of youngsters traveling alone and having the best time of their life.

I've never traveled alone to a foreign destination. The first international trip I had was I was with my colleague and I thought she'll be guiding me around but it turned out I was doing the task myself lol. On domestic flights I always travel. alone and I am used to doing it. but I still prefer having a travel companion of like 2 or 3.

@Karusa that's correct, and someone to look after your things when you need to go to the rest rooms or to buy something for a quick fix meal.

Your experiences in Europe sound like a wonderful mix of independence and the comfort of friends and family. Who knows, maybe one day you'll feel the itch for a solo escapade – and I'm sure it'll be a fantastic chapter in your travel story!

I have always traveled with someone, including when I have journeyed outside of my country. My best friend travels alone, and I know she went to Canada by herself too. I find traveling with someone way more fun, but she doesn’t need another person to enjoy herself.

Yes I have since a very young age. I was travelling internationally solo at the age of 14 years and onward. Many trips.
