The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that monkeypox (mpox) could spread all over the world. There are outbreaks in Africa, Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and China. Close contact, including sexual contact are two of the ways that you can catch the disease. It can also be contracted by eating infected meat that has not been properly cooked.
The owner of Boston Market has filed for bankruptcy. He has $10-50 million dollars in debt and about the same amount in assets.
The USPS (United States Post Office) is installing 12,000 high-security mailboxes in the highest-risk areas. More than 25,000 mail theft incidents were recorded in the first half of 2023. The details of the changes are confidential.

I hadn't heard about monkeypox in a long time - possibly for a year - but I guess it has not disappeared yet. I have not had Boston Market in years - I thought they had already filed long time ago. I believe it about the mail theft incidents. No s**w here . . . I wouldn't mind it for a day though .

@LindaOHio There was nothing special about it. If you just wanted a typical tasting chicken dinner with some fixings, there ya go.

@moffittjc Yes, I did a Discussion on that as well. There is something that will become the next pandemic; and I think it will be worse than COVID.

Does the WHO have credibility anymore after they botched covid so badly? lol. Oh well. I guess I will watch my Ps and Qs.
For dinner I made Manwich baked potatoes. Yummy as always. Cooked up the ground beef with some red pepper and celery and of course the Manwich sauce, and had onions, shredded cheese and sour cream with the mixture on top.

Oh! That monkey pox thing sounds alarming.
It would be good if it's warmer on Christmas day. I know that you don't like too much cold.
It's dinner time here. Actually it's a bit late for dinner but then we don't care about such things when it's holiday. We plan to have aloo paratha( chapati stuffed with spicy potato) with coriander and minit chutney ( a dip ).

Hmmm. Three eggs in the morning with whole wheat toast. (Had to empty an egg carton.) Lunch, I only ate part of it. Two baked meat balls, microwaved potato, green peas. Supper was a cheeseburger with onion and cranberry sauce on the side.

Not more stuff to worry about! Never been to a boston market, but that stinks.
Interesting meals there; I had ravioli for one meal and a sandwich for the other

That is scary news about monkeypox. Lets hope the `experts' have learned their lessons from what happened with covid and stop it spreading before it gets too bad. I think that people in infected countries should not be allowed out of their country and other travellers should not be allowed in.

Yes, that's the way it should work; but it always seems like someone gets into this country with a new threat.

Yesterday I went to Mark’s Feed Store for a baked potato stuffed with cheese and chicken. Dinner was the infamous potato and broccoli and rice soup! And pears!!! (They don’t last long, either. )
I thought Boston Market had gone bankrupt a long time ago. The stores they had here closed about 25-30 years ago!
