I’m so proud of hubs! He was a chunky boy for way too long, thanks to my cooking and sneaking out for breakfast and lunch with his friends, telling me he only went out for coffee
He decided to diet and return to the gym on May 1st. As you can see, I not only helped him, but myself. He lost a ton of weight and guess who else got down to her wedding weight?
All of our fat clothes have been donated. Poor hubs is still shopping for new clothes. I can fit into all my skinny minnie old clothes, but am enjoying the shopping for some new duds.
We dieted at home, but ate whatever we wanted when eating at restaurants. Tonight will be a diet night. We both want to lose a bit more weight for some leeway. I’m so proud of him!
Happy to share our fatso loss with you all. Covid didn’t help either. Of course, the gym helps hubs. Walking, pickle ball, bike riding, and gardening 5 hours a day helped me.

@DianneN The only thing I will not like is to lose it on my face.

@allknowing Unfortunately, I lose it all over. My beauty doctor almost had a heart attack when he saw me. Lots of work to make me look as if I had cheeks

Really good job!! I know from my own journey that it takes a lot of work and determination. I do have to say that donating ''fat clothes'' REALLY gives a person a great feeling of accomplishment!!

You look stunning (as always), but your husband looks so good too! I am happy for you both. Are you two good at pickleball? Everyone around here seems to be playing it nowadays, which is great for health reasons, especially.
I hope we’ll continue to see you around now that you’ve dropped by again.

Thanks so much, Amber. I really wanted hubs to knock off the weight to keep himself healthy. I was within normal ranges, but most females like to be a tad thinner. lol
Only I play pickle ball. It’s so much fun. Hubs prefers tennis, golf, etc….
I will try my best. Today was a busy day, if you call errands and hanging at the pool with friends all afternoon busy
Soon, I have to make a diet dinner

Thank you! It was very easy once we got into the routine. To be honest, I couldn’t wait to go out to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I lost too much weight, so had to gain almost 10 pounds back. Now I want to lose 5 pounds to use as a buffer.

@wolfgirl569 Our clubhouse Christmas party. I gained 2+ pounds , but knocked it off and then some. It’s a yo-yo way of life, but it works.

You both look fabulous! I'm so happy for both of you.
I can say I've lost 20 pounds since June. I still have a long way to go to get back to where I was before my knee surgery and the stupid holiday eating, I did two years in a row and the wrong advice from my doctor that added more weight instead of taking it off. Doing it my way, I've lost 20 and I'm proud of it.
You are very active, and that always helps you to lose weight.

Dieting your own way is what works. So glad you lost 20 pounds. This is the worst time of year to even think of dieting!
Definitely, being active helps burn calories and being so busy that you don’t have time to think about food helps tremendously!!!

@DianneN Yes, it does. I try to keep myself busy. I'm working my way down to get into my swimsuit and get back to the pool. It's been a year since I went to the YW. I bought a new suit in the size I normally wear and couldn't get it on. I've been on a mission to lose weight to get into it again.

Congratulations Dianne, you both look great. My husband has lost a lot of weight, it was not intentional, but at least it seems that it's not something to be worried about. We donated all his clothes and we are still buying. I am the same weight from ages.

@DianneN - I was concerned for my husband, but after so many MRI scans and tests they would have found if something was wrong. Do not hate me, I envy those who can eat anything they love and not gain weight. I can say that I was on a permanent diet during all my life.

Did you keep anything of fat clothes as a reminder as to who you once were. Your husband looks very thin and good for the both of you. I still walk places but try to do not do it in the rain. It is our rainy season now in winter and hope it ends when winter ends.

I have been out when it started to rain and have walked outside on days that it did not rain. I think I kept something of my fat clothes so I can be reminded where I was and where I am now. Everyone has to do what they feel is best and you are welcome.

Wow! That's quite noticeable. You both look so fit and fine.. After Covid infection, I struggled to put on some weight and now I have crossed my goal . I plan to reduce the extra three kilos that I have put. And I hope to do that in a month.

@DianneN I am positive too. I want to be totally fit to take the challenge of 108 Surya Namaskar in coming June. I have done earlier too and I am sure that I can do it again.
Yes, there is thing like too thin. After my covid infection, I weighed 56 kgs. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and my ideal weight should be 68 kgs. I was underweight and looked really thin.
