I mean the ones that you pour hot water and wait for a few minutes until it gets ready . I was craving for some soup so I went ahead and bought when I was at the supermarket . It was my first time buying it . NOT a good experience ! The power got very lumpy after adding water to it , took time to get rid of them . But even the taste of it I didn't like , it left a weird effect in my tongue . NEVER BUYING IT AGAIN ! Do you buy these instant soup powders/packets ? How is it at your place ?

@KityCat Maybe it was too hot or too sour or might be too old a packet.

No, the ones we used to get is basically just flour and salt. My mother in law uses it to add to stews etc, I've banned those things from our house.

Yeah they call it prison food for a reason. The packets are crap but you can actually do neat things with it. Canned meat and ranch dressing with shredded cheese does wonders.

I have tried instant soups from Knorr, Maggi, and Changs..but I could not even get 30% of the taste and aroma of the real soup. In fact, these soups contain a lot of harmful substances and preservatives.

The only "instant soup" I ever bought was something like Ramen noodles with the little packets. But I don't anymore. Too much salt. But I used to love them.

I do not think these packet soups taste very nice at all, the flavours seem all wrong . I did have one good experience with one packet soup made by Heinz. This soup was a bit more expensive than normal packet soups but the tomato one I brought was really nice and it tasted very much like the Heinz tinned soup.

I don't buy those, nor do I buy those ramen packets. They are loaded with really unhealthy ingredients, so I don't. I make my own soups, they are good and I know what's in them. I do know some people shop around for soups by trying different brands and such, I just don't do that. I hope you can find something you like.
