Good afternoon, I'm in a meeting right now. Some participants are sharing the difficult experiences they had in school. How very thankful I am that my own experiences as a student in school were positive, encouraging and supportive. I am grateful to the Lord, my wonderful family, terrific friends, and everyone who believed that I was capable of being successful first in my neighborhood high school and subsequently in college. My decision to attend Walter Johnson one of the best decisions I've ever made. My perspectives were broadened and that decision changed the trajectory of my life and enabled my growth and increased self advocacy and independence. My classmates at WJ loved and accepted me as if I had always been there. I am so thankful for each and every one of them. I love them all so very much!
