My lotters make me work. The marinara sauce is simmering.

I read a post yesterday written by @NJChicaa about a marinara sauce she was making. Now what I am doing now? Waiting for the marinara to simmer until forever. Once in a while I go to the kitchen to see how it is doing but it already has all its ingredients and I only need to thicken it. The marinara will be my meal tomorrow with capelletti. Today I was looking for something to eat tomorrow (Anita called me to change the day she will come so I´ll eat alone) but the only thing I found was a delicious meal for Luna. I either ate all the pork chops I bought of they are hidden in the freezer. There is still enough things there so that food in hidden and will be found when I don´t need it. What are you having today, friends?

Yesterday at noon I made exactly what is in your photo tortellini. I always make a lot of tortellini when I start because it's a slow and annoying process. I freeze in portions and yesterday it was the perfect meal for a cold day.

@LadyDuck I could do that too but I found a brand of fresh stuffed pastas and although they are expensive for me it is worth it as I live alone. I cannot cook many things just for one person. Yesterday I made marinara sauce and will have to freeze a great part of it.

@marguicha My grandmother used to make tortellini also during summer. I learned from her to make them from scratch.

I hope you would have had a great Marinara! Something new that I heard. No plans for today. May be Rice Pulao leftover from yesterday. Plus something more. The fog is clearing now but at 16 to 18 C Max, it is still going to be a cold day.

@marguicha Sounds quite good. Here we make similar things with added Coriander, Mint, Spices and a few times Garlic. Some people prefer a few chillies also.

Marinara is a tomato sauce made for pastas. It is delicious and perfect for vegetarians as it has no meat.

I have been making coleslaw a lot lately as some other greens are too expensive because of too much rain during winter.

It came out delicious. And it is in the pot and waiting for it to cool before I put it in jars. I made a lot. You should be ashamed for making me work.
