Go figure. We were in the negatives for a week and today we "warmed" up to 22 degrees and supposed to stay up there. It's been snowing since 5 am non-stop and supposed to continue to tomorrow morning. Snow is beautiful. I just need to get water back. Drove in the snow to my son's to do laundry and get a long hot shower. Oh, it was glorious. I hope everyone is keeping warm and safe. I'll be back tomorrow. I'm just very sleepy tonight. Wanted to say hi. Photo is my son's backyard by the river. Ducks were flying in and out of the snow. Crazy how they don't feel the cold in the snow or river.

Thank you. I'm day 12 and still no water. My pipes are slowly allowing water but the "T" has ice and will be a few days before I can get them to thaw without issues. Warming up and snow is melting but lots of fog and still freezing nights.

It's often said that 'it's too cold to snow'. Then the snow came when it was warmer.

Some geese and ducks stay here but a lot fly south. It was really chilly here today but is supposed to get up to 22° tomorrow. I hate the cold but have some fun snow ideas to do with my little one that I thought would be fun while my husband is home too tomorrow. We’ll see if we can bundle up and tolerate that cold for a short time.

When I lived in Oregon, there were a lot of geese that stayed in the city and outskirts. They are neat to watch fly.

Poor ducks, they are surely trying to find something to eat. Snow is beautiful, but I am very glad that we have no snow.

It's amazing to watch them fly and go in the river. They dive for fish and my son throws bird seed and duck food out every day. I hear the geese out honking right now splashing around in the river.

@noni1959 - I always go by the lake to throw bird seeds to the ducks.

@LadyDuck There's a lot of fish in the river behind my son's. They dive and get a lot. My son put a new feeder yesterday where he can video and watch them too. It's real fun to see the camera footage.

Sometimes a long, hot shower is just the best thing.

I don't have young children but have young grandkids. They love the snow to play in. I'm over it. Ready for sunshine.
