Have you noticed this when you check hot discussions?

I just checked all the hot discussions. Some very old discussions appeared. Some are from 2013. I didn't know that such old discussions could appear on that list. I am not sure if someone answers them. But, interestingly, they appear in that list. Have you noticed this? Many of these discussions are very interesting. I could answer some of them, but many users aren't here now.

This is because those discussions have been getting recent activity from someone.

Some I know have either passed on or left mylot for other things. It sucks sometimes being here, because I feel i have nothing else to go for outside. But I'm happy at least mylot is still around.

I usually check the top rated discussion these days and find many interesting ones.

I wonder if I did that? Hmm. I have been digging up old posts for the past two days now. Some of them have a lot of comments on them and maybe that's why they show up when they are "revived?" Not sure. I may have to look at hot discussions to see if any of them are the ones I have been answering. Very interesting and thanks for pointing it out.

@dya80dya Interesting. I do it all the time, although I have been doing it more recently. Does this make me an influence? lol
I would not worry so much about whether someone responds. I think it is still fun to participate. And if you dig around in the comments, there is usually someone in them who is still active who WILL likely respond, and it's fun to breathe some new life into some of these older posts.
I wish more people did it, honestly.

If you those, its because people are responding on those old discussions. If happens when members haven't been around for awhile and come back.

Not just under hot discussions old discussions can appear anywhere. You too can pick them up and start responding
