My bad week last week.

United Kingdom

Last Monday I ordered some tablets from an online pharmacy. They told me that the parcel should be with me any day between Tuesday and Friday. I had to be there when the parcel arrived because they needed a signature. I waited in all week and when it finally arrived, the delivery man posted it through the letter box and I did not have to sign for it. I was not amused because the weather had been dry on those days I waited in and I could have gone out.

I am sorry you had to wait so long. I suppose not asking for the signature was a mistake of the mailman.

It was a shame that I had to wait in for so long because the weather was cold but not wet, so I could have gone out. It was their mistake that they did not wait for a signature, I should have thought they would be more careful with a parcel from a pharmacy.

@lazydaizee - It happened also to me, they delivered a package that needed my signature but they forgot to make me sign.

@LadyDuck I wonder if they get into trouble for doing that. I should have thought that they needed a signature for a reason. Dishonest customers could say that they had not received their parcel.

Maybe it's the mistake of the mailman. I can feel the feeling that i have to wait in the delivery date then it was delayed in that day and it will be delivered in the next days. I feel so bored.

I was bored with waiting too, but I could not go out because I might have missed the delivery.

@cabuyogty It always happens that if you do go out, the delivery will arrive while you are not there.

I sure as heck would have thought something from an online pharmacy certainly would have had to be signed for.

Yes, I would too. It did say `signed for' on the box. But I was more annoyed at having to wait in all week.

If a signature is needed, the delivery person will not just leave the package without your signature. Maybe the pharmacy mistake or the delivery person forgot. They come back for your signature. Which one is true?

They should have knocked on the door and given me the parcel personally and then I could have signed it. But the delivery person just posted it through the letter box without letting me know it was here. They did not wait for a signature they just drove off in the van.

It was his mistake and he should be more careful with a parcel containing important tablets.

By the time the tablets arrive, the sickness has disappeared.

This could happen, it is like waiting for weeks to see a doctor, hopefully it should be cured by then.
