What is your face routine?

My morning moisturizer has sunscreen in it. I swear, it makes my face whiter even though it is only a 15.

@AmbiePam It is probably just a temporary effect. Initially, it does appear that way though. Mine does the same thing.

@MarieCoyle Where they kept saying wash your hands during the pandemic I did not have to worry. Because I have always washed my hands a lot.

I use the same. I am allergic to some soaps, so I know this one is safe and not inflammatory in any way. I cannot imagine not washing my face...I don't think many of us always realize how often our hands touch our faces. And yes, I do wash my hands very often, but still...and after living through a pandemic, it's super important to me to try to be clean without overdoing it.

@jstory07 I have done the same. I spent several years teaching the class that people have to pass in order to have a food handler's license--which does vary from state to state, but still...when you study all of that, you wash your hands--a LOT.

Do you have a favorite soap, or do you just go with plain water?

If I don't wear makeup I look like I'm wearing blush, and I don't like that. Do your products have sunscreen in them? My morning moisturizer has SPF 15, and I hope it does something.

@AmbiePam Mine don't have sunscreen but I'm not out in the sun much and I always wear a hat.

Not even cleansing your face after wearing makeup? Or, are you one of those lucky ducks who doesn’t need makeup? I wear makeup about three times a week. I’m always afraid if I leave it on I’ll get zits.

@AmbiePam I rarely wear make up lol, I probably "need" it daily but I usually don't bother...unless it is like a special occasion. But nah don't even wash my face after wearing makeup

I used to use Aveeno on my face, and so did my mom. They are reasonably priced, and have never irritated my skin. I love CeraVe, and recently started using Aveeno oil mist too.It is so good for my arms and legs in winter. My skin gets so soft, and it isn’t greasy at all.

I imagine it was easy to let the routine with so much on your mind. I’m glad you get to have that procedure. Although I imagine you continue to be your pretty self, you deserve to feel as great on the outside as you are on the inside.

@1creekgirl Do the wigs irritate your scalp?

@AmbiePam Oh, what a sweet thing to say. My hair is still growing, thank the good Lord, but still looks awful. I have several wigs, but I don't want to wear them around the house.
