Are you a budget-conscious consumer?

I must say that I am a price-conscious individual, especially during the pandemic. It has been my habit when buying things online and offline. I also prefer to buy goods with promotions like buy one, take one, etc. In my view, it is not a bad thing to be like this. At least you can save money, and there is no need to make yourself stressed out with the continued skyrocketing prices of commodities at present. It is also my style to ask for discounts or bargaining when buying, especially if I am at the public market. When you make a purchase, do you ask for discounts? Image Credit: shellwanders.com

I make my grocery purchases online through Walmart once a month and attempt to stay within budget, Then I try for gift cards through surveys and get some other stuff through Amazon,

If I do have gift cards, I will use them to buy some products that can be useful for the family.

When it comes to needs I do not look at how much it costs.

If it is really needed, I just need to close my eyes and purchase the items. Even if it is expensive, I will just buy it.

I am very frugal. I try to shop at the places with the lowest prices and am always looking for a good sale or clearance items.

I also do the same thing. I usually go to the grocery stores that have lower or cheaper prices.

It is also my habit to go around and check to see who can provide products at a cheaper price. Being practical is what I practiced.

I love finding the deals and taking advantage of sales and discounts whenever possible. I know in some countries they bargain or request discounts, but we don't really do that here.

If the items are in shopping malls, we cannot ask for discounts. Unless they have this promo, It would be great if they had this kind of scheme.

We check prices on everything and keep book for comparison. Its more in Dalene's culture to ask for discounts, I rather wait until I'm sure I get the best price. Some things I'm not price conscious at all like fresh vegetables and fruit. If something is not in the right price, I rather do without. We've saved quite a bit that way over the years.

Through my years of existence, I learned to wait for the price to become low. It is worth it to wait. I am like you. If it is really too pricey, I would not buy it and find an option.

We do not have markets, we buy in grocery stores that are large international chains, you cannot ask for discounts. When they have special sales of what I usually consume, I buy.

Yes every time I make an online purchase on Amazon and Ebay, I try to use a discount code to buy the items.

I also do the same thing. Before I made the final decision to purchase, I checked all the shops similar to the items.

I never ask for discount. The last time I bargained was many years ago. I'm very budget conscious and I also like the buy one get one free promotions. I like shopping on weekends because prices are lower.

It is my habit to bargain. I learned it from my biological mother. It is also my logistical skills in doing it.

Yes, I shop very carefully. I was going to add "these days" but I've always been careful. I try to avoid supermarkets and big stores a lot of the time because there's too much stuff in there and I'm trying to keep things simple. The real problem is, if you leave it for a month between visits you really notice the price increases!

I also try to find small grocery stores that are not in malls. It is because they are expensive.

I always check out promotion deals like buy one get one free. If I buy in the market, I ask for discounts because most shops here have fixed price.

I agree. It is not possible to ask discounts in shops. It is most likely to happen at the public market.
