What's for dinner? January 23

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! I'm making something that I've been making a lot lately--spinach tortellini en brodo (in broth). It is a soup with chicken broth, onion, celery, carrots, plain cheese tortellini, baby spinach, parmesan cheese, and nutmeg. It is easy and very good. This is the same soup that I volunteered to bring to my work's soup fundraiser in a couple of weeks. Everyone I've shared it with loves it. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Share with us! P.S. If our beloved Fredo was still with us he and Mike would be having fish and a green vegetable.
What can be more comforting than a hot bowl of soup, like this spinach tortellini en brodo, on a cold winter night.

@njchicaa Being half way through a house move and with possessions in disarray in two houses we made do with a frozen ready meal - totally foul.

I made baked chicken thighs seasoned with some Rupena's beef and pork seasoning, a no salt one I get from Dollar Tree and curry powder, and we had salad and stuffing on the side.

I had a PB&J sandwich. It was on white bread for a change. Hubs has been using up the Meals on Wheels whole wheat bread. Have a good day.

Chicken chow mein tonight. We had a whole chicken on Sunday. I also made some stock from the carcass and made a vegetable and lentil soup with it.
