A teenager, age 17, created a device for Alzheimer's patients. It is a wearable device with 20 prototypes. It all started when his grandmother was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 12. The brilliant teen is Hemesh Chadalavada from India.
The device can monitor if the patient starts to mobilize, and it is called the Alpha Monitor. It can be attached to the arm or other body parts. More of the features are to monitor the pulse and body temperature.
The sad part is that it was not finished to be sold in the market. For the reason that he needs to finish his exam in March. The target month to be on sale is September.
How beneficial do you believe the Alpha Monitor will be for those suffering from Alzheimer's?
