A concerned citizen did alert the Okaloosa County Sheriffs Office (OCSO) that he saw a Kodiak bear on the streets of Baker Florida since the majority of bears who live in Florida are not natives of Alaska.
The Kodiak cubs were picked up by the officials of the Florida Fish And Wildlife Commission after the deputies did see the presence of the bears.
The Florida Fish And Wildlife Commission took the cubs to an undisclosed location to keep them safe.
The authorities found out that the cubs had escaped from the home of a "self proclaimed bear trainer."
The owner of the bears is facing some trouble from the FWC since it is illegal for a bear owner to have bears that are out of the state in his possession.

So sad that they have been brought to a place so different from their natural environment.

I hope so as well since the bears that were seen on the roads in Baker Florida could have harmed someone.

It was good that this irresponsible person was brought to the notice of the authorities for his illegal bear activities.

@Deepizzaguy
Will the trainter be doing jail time or paying a hefty fine? Are these bears dangerous or tame?

The trainer will likely be fined by the authorities for bringing bears from Alaska to Florida.
