I've just had my stir fry with added edamane beans!

I've just had my stir fry with added edamane beans. On the packet of stir fry it said to heat a dry wok (or frying pan in my case) for 2 minutes and then put the oil in. Then to stir fry the stir fry for 4 minutes. I was adding some edamane beans in that were separate, so I checked how long they should be cooked, and it said 3 minutes. So I took half the packet of stir fry (as it said on it:- Contains two servings.) and put it in the frying pan. I stir fried that for 1 minute. Then I added half my tub of edamane beans and cooked them altogether for a further 3 minutes. It was very tasty. I think I might have the rest of the stir fry either Thursday or Friday. Or maybe even tomorrow. I want to use it up quickly now that it's open so that it doesn't go off. How is your day going? What are you having for lunch? I hope you are having a good one.

I did not know that edamame beans require such a short cooking time. I am going to buy them.

@sharonelton I am sure I would not get sick for eating them raw, I think that in Asiatic countries they eat them raw. I just searched, they can be consumed raw but they are harder to digest. I will cook them.

@LadyDuck It's all according what beans you are eating. Not all beans can be eaten raw. But I'm sure edamame beans can. I'm sure I've eaten them raw before, ages ago. Oh, I see. You have researched it. Well, I'm glad you know now!

It sounds absolutely delicious. Right now, it is 6:49am, and I’ve just had some chicken for breakfast, and am waiting for the rest of the world to get up. I’m ready to face the day now.

@sharonelton I like chicken biscuits for breakfast, but today, it was just a piece of baked chicken left over from last night’s dinner. I wasn’t really hungry, but I needed to take my medicine with food, so I just got a little bit. Today, I imagine I will be getting a nap since I never went to bed last night. Other than that, I have some cleaning to do, and some catching up to do on my money making sites. Yesterday was filled with drama, and I’m looking forward to some peace today. It’s going to be a great day though. For me AND you!

@AmbiePam Chicken biscuits for breakfast? Doesn't sound very breakfasty! Neither does baked chicken left over from last night's dinner! I have Alpen cereal for breakfast on a weekday and porridge for breakfast on weekends, but you probably already knew that! I take my pills with a glass of water and then I have to leave it for half an hour before I can eat anything. If you never went to bed you must have been feeling very tired. Did you get that nap you were planning on getting? Did you get your cleaning done too? I hope you had a nice day whatever you ended up doing. I had a good day too. I've got to get on with the next stage of my sorting too. I hope you are well. Have a great night.

When I cook green beans, they always turn red. I wonder why yours still look green. But your food looks delicious in the photo.

I have no idea what you are talking about and I don't know why. Maybe you were cooking a different kind of bean? Maybe you cooked them for too long? Thank you very much. It tasted delicious too!

@sharonelton We don’t eat those beans - they give my wife extreme pain in the gut. But tonight we had shakshuka or however it is spelled. We have no oven yet in our new place but we have a hob so that dictates what we can eat.
