This actually did make me laugh when I found it online today. Apparently today is laugh and get rich day. It is also ,Fat Thursday, National Molasses Bar Day, Kite flying day and Opera Day.
Kite flying day also sounds interesting because when I was young , you often saw children flying kites on a windy day. I have not seen anybody flying a kite for years now even though we are getting plenty of windy days now.

I'm a bit careful of get rich quick schemes. Speaking of rich, the image is from onsizzle.com I used to build kites - a good hobby to get back to some time or the other.

@lazydaizee Most opera are in Italian, but you need the booklet to understand what they say.

@LadyDuck I might be able to follow one if there is a booklet to help me to understand it. It could be worth going to see an opera just for the experience.

I have never seen an opera, but I don`t think I would understand it if I did. But I suppose it would be a good experience to go and watch one some day.

I don't feel like laughing; so I guess I won't get rich. Have a good day.

I can understand why you do not want to laugh at the moment. Take care.

That's because the kids do not need kites. They have apps on their phones to fly pretend ones...in pretend places...from their couch in the living room.
As for laughing to get rich, I would really like to know how they intend for us to accomplish this? lol

@lazydaizee I think happiness does breed a better sense of the world and everything around us. It also lets us better see the lighter side of things. If we take ourselves too seriously, we won't get as far. So, I guess from that perspective it does make sense.

I think they mean that if you laugh a lot your life will be richer because laughter makes us feel better.
I feel sorry for kids these days having to play at pretend this and pretend that , all they are doing is missing out on real life.
