How I got fired at Guitar Center today.

I taught piano to my student Ava today at Guitar Center. Her daddy is a fellow professor at Diablo Valley College. Ava's dad is half-Persian, and her mommy is Persian, so picture a cute little girl of seven who looks (to me) Indian.
Remember that I am President of India, but can't stand Indians because they sound British when they speak English, and have 8,274 dialects in their Country. And because @Vandana7 is from there.
So we (Ava and I) work on a few songs, and then I challenge her by introducing the A-scale, which has three sharps. She tackles it well, and I give her strokes, saying things like "You did it!" and "Good job!"
At the end of our lesson, her eyes are bright, and she is proud of what she has done. She forgets her sweatshirt, cast over a chair, and comes back to retrieve it. She says, "May I hug you?" I give her a hug and say ""You did great! Carry on!"
I was immediately fired for letting the kid hug me. Such a bummer. I love hugs.
But I hope this little girl keeps playing piano. She has a gift for it. And her daddy has the right attitude. He told me he lets her practice when she wants to practice, but does not force it on her.

@vandana7 I think he is still mentally at the age where he says he doesn't like what he does. Males mature a lot slower than females and some never do

@TheHorse I would have thought Persians are inclined to be a tad conservative in how they bring up their girl child so the girl wanting to hug you or for that even her mother in public would be frowned upon. But I maybe mistaken about their culture.

I remember one thing that Mr. President said that I actually resonated with. He said that it is a difficult time for young white males. I am no longer a young white male, but I HAVE been discriminated against based on race and gender.
