As you all know I started going live on TikTok. I made a couple of new friends with whom I played wordscape daily. Among my friends there's one named Dani. We were talking about Valentine's Day yesterday and she said her husband got her flowers for Valentine's Day and it made her so mad. I was so confused about why was she angry. Then she said "I wanted CHOCOLATE" That made me laugh so hard. It sounded funny to me. Do you also want something specific on Valentine's Day or are you grateful for any gifts and gestures?

My husband and I never exchanged gifts for Valentine's Day, but we will have a nice dinner together.

@Butterfingers We do not like to waste money only because it has become a commercial celebration. We celebrate at home and a good dinner is the best.

Some people are ungrateful no matter what you do for them. She should be happy with the flowers.

I'm the type to be grateful for any gift. You should have told her to buy some chocolates for herself. There is no need to be mad.

I had chocolates and I am very happy with them, my only complaint was that he could have brought a bigger box, but I must not be greedy.

I think we should be thankful to our better half (Husband or wife) that they are bearing with us LOL

I'd be grateful for whatever I was given but I'd rather someone was loving and considerate all year round, not just on one day. Valentines wasn't around when we were growing up so I'm afraid I mostly see it as over-commercialised. I would have laughed at your friend too.
