The postage was more expensive than the card.

I found a really lovely card that I wanted to send somebody, for sale on Amazon. So I went through the usual process of adding the item to my cart. Then I noticed that they wanted me to pay more than twice the amount that the card cost. I looked at it closer to make sure that I had not made a mistake. That was when I noticed that I was being charged for the postage.
I do not mind paying postage where necessary, but I think it is a bit too much when the postage costs more than the item being ordered. Especially something small like a greetings card that would only need a stamp and a large envelope as postage and packing.

They raised their minimum at Amazon from $25 to $35 for free shipping AND you can't use Amazon credits for gift cards anymore!

@lazydaizee Businesses are making it harder and harder for us! I guess they are all trying to make a buck.

@lazydaizee Most sites offer free shipping if you buy over a certain amount.
