Life just isn't fair sometimes

I am been feeling sad this evening, My daughter's friend just found out she has stage 4 cancer and there is nothing more they can do for her. Her cancer is aggressive and spreading quickly. She is such a good person, it breaks my heart. She is 35 years old and a mother of three. The kids are14, 13 and 4. My heart hurts so badly for her and her family. There are no words.

I’m so sorry. Wish they could figure out why younger and younger people are getting stricken with this dreadful disease.

@Happy2BeMe — I know. They have made great strides in some types of cancer, but they take one step forward with one and two steps back with another.

Oh that is rough-I feel for you, you have such a big, caring heart.
Try to be there for your daughter and the kids, and make sure that she can spend the time and energy with her friend while she is still here, that is all that she can do, try to make some memories.

I know it breaks my heart that the little one will never really know her mom. She will have memories as she gets older but she will remember very little from being 4.
