I have registered to attend a Writers' Workshop in March. As part of the workshop, I signed up to have two ten-minute pitches with two agents.
Now, I need to have something to pitch. I have decided on A Princess for Buzby Beach.
Part of doing that is coming up with the pitch. I've been working on that. It also means having a manuscript ready to go. I have three weeks to work on that.
The manuscript is on its third or fourth draft. It has been read by beta readers. Their notes have been used, where appropriate, to make changes. It has been edited. Now, I am going through it one more time before the Workshop.
I have three weeks to prepare. I hope it will be long enough.

This sounds like a very nice opportunity for you! Not only to share your skills with other, but to learn about improvement you can make, also. I am an amateur writing, but have never gone anywhere with writing. Text Broker was pretty much all that I've done, but that's gone at this time.

@DWDavis The way they publish novels online, the writer gets royally cheated! The traditional way, cost a more money but in the long-run, the writer gets 100% credit for all the hard work they've put into a book.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of the professionals. IT sounds like a potentially great benefit of that workshop. I wish you luck.

Just be sure to pace yourself. Three weeks is a lot longer than you think. Take a deep breth, trust yourself, and take your time. You're your own worst critic. You're more likely to be the hardest on yourself.
