Hey all, I am working on new commissions, but I wanted to touch base with another update on the portrait of Taz, because I am also working on him along and along, and I didn't want to leave you hanging!
When last we saw the portrait, I had just blocked in the base colors. This time, you may notice things are starting to look more crisp. I have started working on the various areas of color on Taz's coat and the markings on his face, to try to make sure I am painting them accurately. I will be working from dark to light for this process, so you will notice the darker shapes and markings will start to "pop out" with crisper edges and more detail.
These edges will eventually smooth back out, of course, because Taz has soft fur. But the boldly-defined shapes are a start to the final phase of painting.

@AliCanary I'm sure Taz's owner will think it worth the wait.
