Geocaching, Florida, V-day and an engagement

Monday my daughters went out shopping. I had forgotten my wallet at home so I was thankful my oldest daughter had a card on her that she could lend me $250.
While we were out my two year old and I found our first geocache for the year.
Tuesday my little one and I went to toddler playtime at the library. She had so much fun we stayed until 1pm after getting there at 10:30am.
Wednesday my mother texted me that she’s in Florida with her boyfriend. She didn’t tell me she was going because she knows I worry when she’s on the roads traveling.
It was also Valentine’s Day so my little one and I spent the day making homemade valentines and reading lots of books. My husband gave me a box of chocolates, and a bouquet of flowers.
Thursday my son had an appointment with his psychiatrist. On our way home I spotted a new little free library that I filled with books that been sitting in the back of my car for about a month.
Friday I had to pick up my sons medicine at the drug store so I got myself a Dunking iced coffee at Dunkin on the way. I don’t know if they messed it up but it was incredibly sweet. I also got heart shaped donuts that we took to snack with my husband at work after dropping off a car load of things to the recycling centers.
Saturday my husband went hunting. I had been busy a lot lately so I took the day to get my house tidy and clean.
Today my daughter’s boyfriend came over. When they went to her room my little one said “Where is sissy and her pal”. I thought it was so cute.
My husband, our boys, and our little one went to my mother in laws today to celebrate my youngest sister in law getting engaged Friday. I made “Slow cooker spinach and cheese lasagna.” My mother in law got pizza and made a coconut cream pie and chocolate cake. I usually don’t like chocolate cake but this was very tasty!
Photo is unrelated. It’s a beautiful antique I saw back in June.

This Sunday my mother and I went to Walmart to get a new air filter and moth balls. I found out I left my wallet at home. We had to come back home to get it so I can get groceries. A skunk sprayed our ac unit and it didn't smell good in the house and that's why the new air filter and moth balls.
I didn't get anything on Valentine's Day which was fine. I did get a text from my boyfriend.

@Jessy3236 wow so you and I went through very similar forgetting our wallets when we got to Walmart.
That’s awful about the skunk I don’t know if you’ll ever get rid of that smell but I sure hope so.

I have always wanted to geocache. I first heard about it probably12-14 years ago. Since then I have not heard much about it anymore. Glad to hear that in some places at least it is still a popular thing to do. I have not been able to do things like that because of the walking involved, and the driving. I have no car, and I can only walk short distances. How does your two-year-old like it?

@capirani I think I’ve been geocaching for 7 years I’d have to look it up. No one does it anymore in the town I live in but in the bigger cities about 30 miles lots of people do it. I enjoy it so much. Yes not having a car and only being able to walk short distances would make it very hard . My little one loves it she gets so excited to see what’s in it.

@Juliaacv that one is over now. We went on Tuesday and had lots of fun. A story hour there will start up in mid March so it won’t be long to wait. In the meantime I will be taking my little one to a story hour about 15 minutes away on Thursdays. I have to miss today and next week though but should be able to catch the next two or to three after that.

@Lindaohio yes seems even in the winter I’m quite busy even if I am home more. In the summer I’m so busy I don’t even have time to be here so I’m glad to get time over the winter.

Chocolates and flowers make a good gift.
You had a busy week.
I like chocolate cake. It's nice that your sister in-law got engaged.
I just did my online french class this morning and I'm making good progress.

@mildredtabitha they were very beautiful gifts. I haven’t eaten all the chocolate yet
I usually hate chocolate cake but my mother in laws was delicious! I ate mine then ate my little ones who just wanted to play with it instead of eating it and my sister in law was freaking out of it for some reason.
That’s good news about your French class!

Wow! You were very busy on the special day. Antique image is very nice, I like the color. The joy of reading a book in free time is different. You should definitely enjoy.

@LotusEyes I used to read about 40-50 books a year. I’m doing not even 1/4 of that most years now. In trying to read at least one chapter each night before bed this year.
Pink is my favorite color. I thought this antique beautiful burn nothing I needed to buy.

Good for an engagement in Valentine's week, sounds like it was an enjoyable celebration. And chocolate cakeI had to look up geocaching to be honest, never knew about it.

@TraveonWorld geocaching is so much fun. I do it a lot just not in the cold months here which is pretty much November to March or April.
It was actually my sister in laws birthday to so she got engaged, had a birthday and celebrated Valentine’s Day all in the same weekend.
