It has been years that the fact cannot be proven for how long a human lives. It varies from one individual to another. The closest way to living longer is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and do some exercise. My grandmother died at the age of 103, and I missed her for not being here anymore. We had once talked about her secret to longevity. The only thing she said was to eat vegetables and pray.
Who among your acquaintances is the oldest?
Do they maintain a healthy way of life?

My husband is 63. He had a stroke almost five months ago now. It took the stroke to get him to stop smoking and drinking. I believe a lot of that had to do with him being in the hospital for so long.

@Shavkat I too have a sixth sense about someone about to pass. Weather it be a parent or an animal. That's how I knew that I wasn't going to lose George to this stroke. I knew something was wrong and I had to act, but I also knew that he'd live. I still worry about him of course. And, I have this nagging feeling he's not in a place where I could leave him home alone.

@Shavkat It's not always the best feeling to have. Sometimes I wish I didn't have the ability, but at times I'm glad I do. I was able to give George time to say his final goodbyes to our cat Chinnia. Hell, even though we put mama cat down, I knew when she really crossed over rainbow bridge. Despite the vet telling us she was gone.

I have a Facebook friend who is 98 years old! My great grandmother lived to be over 100, I think.

I think it depends on a lot of things. But taking care of yourself does help

@Shavkat I think inspiration is what everyone needs. The interruption of technology in free flow of thought has taken a toll on the young minds losing on their unique self frequency. Even other issues resulting in collateral damage has affected the human psyche. The more we address them, the better for the general lot, for the general good.
