but instead thought I'd give y'all a look at a flash fiction piece I wrote this morning after seeing a writing challenge on Twitter. I hope you enjoy it. On a dreary winter morning, after a night of freezing drizzle, I carried my coffee cup out to the sunroom and glanced at the patio. There sat the frozen chaise lounge, waiting patiently for the sun to release it from its ice crystal prison.

Much better than any breakfast post would be. I like little creative writing challenges like this. Like I say of writing, it doesn't matter what you write, so long as you keep writing something.

@DWDavis They really are. I haven't done flash writing, but I do other exercises, and all of them "improve the process" as they say.
