We had three enjoyable phone calls yesterday.
Firstly, our Nepalese friend rang from Ohio where he is staying with his daughter for another two months. Her husband is Nepalese but works in America. Since going there, she has qualified as a nurse and they are very happy. We attended their wedding a couple of years ago.
Next to ring was our son from Melbourne. He recently started a new job after twenty years in the same position. He suffers from anxiety and depression so has had a bit of a struggle coping with the new position but yesterday he sounded happy and bright. Sometimes he goes on and on about how much trouble he’s having with his work. But he seems to be getting on top of it.
The third call from the son who lives in Co. Mayo, Ireland. One of his interests is playing chess and he was on his way to buy nine chess sets. He is going to a Men’s Shed for six weeks to teach chess to some of the members.
The photo is of Vince with one of the wedding guests. The bride’s father insisted on buying Vince a Nepalese suit. I thought he looked quite the part.

There isn't much you can do for them really, is there? Sometimes he rings and goes on and on about the difficulties of the job so we try to be non-committal but supportive and just let him get it all out of his system. I'm sorry to hear you have an anxious child too.

That is an awesome picture. He definitely looks the psrt. Glad to hear your son in Melbourne is doing good with his new job. Depression and anxiety can make change difficult.

@JudyEv It would be for sure. I struggle with it too so I know how difficult change can be.

Vince is definitely looking like he is from that part of the world!
Nice picture.
If you were to tell someone that this picture was taken in India, they might believe that as well !
Good that your son in Melbourne is getting set in his new job.
Often one has to adjust a lot in a new job, and that too after a long time.
Yet it can be overall an important event in one's life.
Teaching Chess sounds like a nice Passion. It has been a long time since I played Chess.
Have a nice time ahead !!

I have a photo of the pants somewhere but I can't find it. The waist is huge and has a drawstring. There might have been one button on the jacket but everything else was tied with tapes.
I found it. I've cut of the legs but they tapered right down.

I think they would be very similar to Indian gowns. They all look very regal.
